When your soul is in pain, I will give you my hand;
If this doesn’t reach you, I will give you an embrace;
If this doesn’t reach you, I will give you caresses;
If this is not enough, I will give you a kiss;
If this does not suffice, I will make love to you;
and if all this does not satisfy,
I will give you music.
